It took more than 8 months of planning and 3 attempts to finally get to the top. But it’s well worth it, my favorite hike in Vietnam so far (2026).

Getting there
There is no trail marked on Alltrails or Khomoot.
Height
On the cairn the height is given as 1879 m. A Samsung Galaxy S24 with about 1 meter accuracy reports only 1866 meter height. The height map of this area shows the point of maximum height at about 1860 meter. See below.
